Instructions: Instruct students to work individually on Civil Rights timeline worksheet. If students have question about certain events on timeline, please help them out on the worksheet using the answer sheet provided to you. Please do not give answers away to students, but try to help them work through the question together.
Classroom Management and Procedures
Restroom: Students who were NOT tardy to class are allowed a restroom break AFTER 15 min of class have passed, and NOT before 15 minutes of class is left.
Tardy: Students who come to class tardy HAVE to have a tardy pass from another teacher, or a tardy pass from the front office. Students who do not present you with a tardy pass instruct them to go to the office, and count them tardy on the attendance roster.
Discipline: Students who are not paying attention, and causing problems in the classroom write his/her name down on a piece of paper, and place it in sub folder. If student is too much to handle in the classroom, send them down to the office with a disciplinary referral.
