This week was a very fast paced week for me. Monday was a staff development day, so I was able to get some work done, and able to spend more time with other “colleagues”. Tuesday of course was the day that you came, so my cooperating teacher and I were anxiously waiting. After you came and we picked a date for you to come, it was time for my cooperating teacher and me to jump on the ball of including me in more classroom instruction. That day I ended up doing the rest of the bell ringers. Wednesday I did the rest of the bell ringers, and also took over 5th, 7th, and 8th periods. Thursday I took over all the bell ringers, and the same classes. Friday included me taking over them same course again. Also this week I had to do my first set of homework, which I graded over 90 students papers in one night. This weekend I had the same amount of homework to complete, but I had three days to complete it. Overall this was a good week, it just happened to all come so fast.

Wonderful--you've jumped right in! Grading papers--90 in one night--oh my! I think you'll want to spread those out a bit. However, I have had to do the same thing at times.

And yes, school days go so fast that they are hard to count--sounds like you already have a heavy teaching load. It'll be easier the longer you are involved. Tell me again, what are bell ringers?

I was glad to meet your cooperating teaching and glad to see you last Tuesday.
